Put Your Reading Skills to the Test and Speed to the Finish!
Get ready to make reading a blast with our Read and Race Challenge! This fun and interactive program encourages students to discover the joy of reading while racing toward exciting rewards. Each student can track their reading progress on a race-themed log, filling in a block for every 20 minutes they read. The more they read, the closer they get to crossing the finish line and earning awesome prizes! Join us on this reading adventure and watch your child’s love for books hit full speed!
Challenge Instructions and Guidelines
Starting on March 1, 2025, your children (grades K-6) will be able to participate in our NEW Reading Program, encouraging students to get excited about reading. Each student will be given a reading log to track their progress. For every 20 minutes of reading, they can color in one block on the race track. The more consecutive days they read, the quicker they’ll race to the finish line! After completing 15 days of reading, the student can turn in their reading log to receive a $15 game card to Cajun Fast Track. Parents and legal guardians, please sign, date, and write the student's class on the sheet. Please note, a parent or legal guardian must be present with the student when turning in their reading log.

How does my child receive their $15 game card after finishing the reading log?
After your student completes the reading log, please turn in a signed and dated copy of the log to Cajun Fast Track located at 1145 N Barn Rd, Breaux Bridge, LA 70517. After our team approves the completed log, they will provide your child their $15 game card. This card can be used at Cajun Fast Track and can be reloaded for more fun. Your student can start a new reading log and earn a $15 game card each time they reach the finish line. There’s no limit—keep reading and racing! Please note, we ask that the parent or legal guardian is present with the child when turning in the log.
What prize does my child get for completing the reading log?
Each student who completes the reading log will receive a $15 game card that can be used at Cajun Fast Track.
Where can I download a new reading log?
We have some free downloads available for you to download at any point. These downloads include a new reading log coloring sheet and bookmarks.
